The 9.SS has been a large part of WWII re-enacting since the 1980’s.
Primarily located in the bay area of Northern California, our unit retains
members statewide, as well as in neighboring states.
We are always seeking dedicated and loyal recruits to join our ranks. Our
unit has a long standing tradition of maintaining very high standards of
authenticity, historical knowledge, and Kameradschaft.
Once accepted, you will be given information on how to obtain any and all
uniforms and equipment required. If you have reenacted before, we simply ask
that you maintain our mandatory unit authenticity standards. This could mean
upgrading certain items as needed and or the reduction or removal of any previous
rank.
If you are joining us for your first living history event, we can assist you
with temporary loaner uniforms and equipment as needed. It will be your
responsibility to purchase all necessary items as soon as possible. We will
work closely with you throughout that process, to ensure that you procure the
correct items, at the best prices.

The 9.SS is a non-political
group. We respectfully portray the combat soldiers of the 9.SS Panzer
Division "Hohenstaufen" of World War II. Our events are private
and by invitation only. We do not subscribe to the ideas, goals, or
aspirations of any extremist groups, nor are we affiliated with any such
organizations. The reenacting community must represent all sides of the
conflict in order to accurately portray the times between
1939-1945. It is not our intention to offend viewers of our site. If
